Recommended Reading

Reading is one of my favorite hobbies!  Reading is extremely important in third grade because the books are becoming more challenging!  In our classroom we will create a "book worm" (I did this when I was in third grade!).  Each time a student finishes a book, they will write the their name, the book title, and the author on a circle.  On Fridays, I will add the circles from the week to the "worm" that will be on the wall around the room.  The goal in our classroom is to see how long we can make the worm!  Below I listed several great books that I loved reading!  Feel free to check out our classroom library, Deep Springs Library, the any Lexington Public Library!  Enjoy :)
